Beginner
You have experience in downhill skiing. You can descend on various types of snow, with good control of the descent technique. You have little or no experience in backcountry skiing. You are in good physical condition to be able to develop up to 1000 meters of unevenness in one day.
Intermediate
On-piste and off-piste skis in all snow conditions. You feel comfortable on a slope of up to 35 degrees. You have a basic notion of the necessary safety equipment for the rescue of avalanche victims Are you familiar with the use of technical equipment (crampons, pegs, harnesses, etc) You have a good physical condition for days of more than 1000m of unevenness per day.
Advanced
You practice backcountry skiing regularly, you have a solid skiing experience. You ski solidly all types of snow, slopes greater than 35 degrees. Ski glaciers of easy to medium difficulty. You have good physical condition to make more than 1500m of unevenness per day.
